Tammy Abraham will not feature in Monday’s fixture against Lecce.
The English attacker is not expected to be called up for the team’s trip to Salento despite having regularly trained with the rest of his teammates for the past week.
Abraham is, according to Daniele De Rossi, not ready yet.
His return will likely have to be postponed until the end of this month, suggests today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport.
The player underwent a series of fitness tests that indicate he still needs time to fully recover and get to the level that is required to be able to at least come off the bench for the Giallorossi.
