Tammy Abraham still unable to play, continues recovery

Roma striker Tammy Abraham is still not ready to contribute on the pitch after recently returning to group training.

The Englishman has been training regularly with the rest of the team following his recovery from the ACL injury suffered in June of last year.

Nine months later, Abraham is still not fit enough to earn a few minutes of playing time under Daniele De Rossi, reports Il Tempo.

Despite a positive response in training, Abraham was ruled out for the recent match against Lecce and is not expected to be called up for the upcoming Derby della Capitale.

The striker will need a few more weeks and is likely to become available only in the final days of the season.
