Tammy Abraham is finally looking to make his long-awaited return to the pitch following an extensive absence caused by the ACL injury in June of last year.
The Englishman was recently included for the first time in group training under the guidance of Daniele De Rossi.
The manager and his staff are closely supervising Abraham’s recovery so as not to risk him any further and balance the necessary workload with group activities ahead of the next Serie A matchday with Lecce.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Abraham will be called up for the trip to Salento and is expected to play his first minutes of the season near the end of the match as Roma plan to ramp up his usage in the final weeks of the campaign.
