Roma will have to make up for the absence of Romelu Lukaku in the coming fixtures.

The Belgian striker is temporarily sidelined with a muscle injury suffered in the opening minutes of Roma’s win over Milan on Thursday night.

For the time being, there is no clear timeline of recovery but most media reports suggest Lukaku will aim to return to De Rossi’s disposal for the first leg of the Europa League semi’s with Bayer Leverkusen.

In the meantime, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Tammy Abraham is ready to lead Roma’s attack and make his first start for the Giallorossi since June of 2023.

Abraham is expected to make consecutive appearances from the start versus Bologna, Udinese and Napoli.

The newspaper also adds that Sardar Azmoun has recovered from his hamstring injury and will be available on Monday night.
