Roma attacker Tammy Abraham once again emphasised his delight at being at the heart of Roma’s project in a recent interview with Sky Sport.
“A final is always a final, regardless of whether it is a World Cup, Champions League or Conference League.”
“Finals are always there to be played and won, and we want to win for the club and for the city. Two finals await us now: the first against Torino, then the Conference League. We can’t wait.”
On exceeding expectations in his first year in Italy, Abraham replied, “I would say that it’s also and perhaps mainly thanks to the teammates, the staff and the fans.”
“It’s never easy to settle in a new country, but here I immediately felt at home. That’s why I promised to repay by giving all of myself, my heart, my blood and my sweat.”
“The best way to reciprocate all this will be to lift a trophy. Overall I can say that playing in Italy is one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.”
With regards to Feyenoord, he concluded, “They’re a great team, playing very nice and offensive football. They also have a striker who scored one goal more than I did and I have to try to settle things once and for all.”
“They play well, I saw some videos and Karsdorp says that it’s a fast team, which will definitely push to score, as we want to do. We’ll just have to beat them and be superior.”
