Roma forward Tammy Abraham was forced to forfeit in the second half of last night’s defeat against Napoli.
The Englishman felt a sharp pain in his thigh muscle yesterday evening and, despite trying to continue to play, was told to come off the pitch by Jose Mourinho who preferred not to risk him any further.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Abraham’s conditions are worrisome and will require medical tests at Trigoria later today.
The Italian newspaper also predicts that as a result of Abraham’s injury Andrea Belotti is expected to start in his place on Wednesday night against Cremonese in Coppa Italia.
