Daniele De Rossi is set to remain as Roma’s head coach for at least the next three years.

After dismissing Jose Mourinho in January, the Friedkins bet on the young coach and club legend to take charge of the team and lead them into a new project.

The club’s primary objective remains the same, namely returning to the Champions League.

To do that, Dan Friedkin has made it a point to include Daniele De Rossi in all transfer market discussions.

Roma will only sign players that are approved by De Rossi in order to create a functional roster compatible with the coach’s ideas.

Moreover, today’s edition of Il Messaggero reveals the details of De Rossi’s new long-term deal at the club.

The Roma coach will earn around 3.3 million euros per season for three years until 2027.

This salary figure is significantly lower than that received by Mourinho, but which will still place De Rossi in fourth place in the ranking of the currently highest paid coaches in Serie A , behind Antonio Conte, Simone Inzaghi and Thiago Motta.
