RomaPress – After nearly two months of negotiations, an agreement was reached within the last few hours between Dan Friedkin, the CEO of The Friedkin Group, and James Pallotta for the sale of AS Roma.
A legal executive from Friedkin has confirmed to RomaPress that a total agreement was reached between the parties. Talks intensified over the past week as both sides wanted to find an agreement before the new year. The contracts and the official takeover won’t take place until next month — but the parties do have a complete agreement in place for the sale of the club.
The Giallorossi are expected to release an official communication soon to announce the sale of the club to the Californian business tycoon — after nearly a decade, James Pallotta is ready to waive goodbye to AS Roma.
17.00 CET – Now the confirmation arrives also from those inside Roma. Two members of the Giallorossi’s management team have confirmed to RomaPress that a deal has been struck with Dan Friedkin.
