Roma have yet to address the future of manager Jose Mourinho and executive Tiago Pinto.
Both men joined the capital club in 2021 and have their contracts’ expiry date fixed for next summer 2024.
However, according to Il Tempo, Roma’s ownership led by President Dan Friedkin have not undertaken any steps to discuss the contractual situation of either Mourinho or Pinto.
The newspaper claims that although Mourinho expects more clarity regarding his own future before the end of the year, a lot will ultimately depend on the team’s trajectory this season.
The Friedkins are said to not be in a hurry for a confrontation – their strategy remains ambiguous, with Dan Friedkin preferring to observe Roma’s results through the next months before aligning a long-term plan for the club.
