Bologna coach Thiago Motta is reportedly being considered as Jose Mourinho’s future replacement at Roma.

Besides Antonio Conte who was linked with the club in recent weeks, Thiago Motta has now climbed the list of names that Roma are willing to evaluate ahead of Mourinho’s exit next summer.

Seeing as the chances of Mourinho renewing his stay in the Italian capital are currently very slim, Roma are said to have began monitoring valid replacements for next season.

According to calciomercato.com, Thiago Motta is a strong candidate to take over from Mourinho at the end of this year’s campaign.

Roma President Dan Friedkin has been monitoring Motta over the last few months.
