Matias Soulé is about to join Roma and, as a result, did not feature in Juve’s lost friendly with Nuremberg earlier today.

At the end of the match lost 3-0 against Nuremberg, Bianconeri manager Thiago Motta commented on the situation of Matias Soulé, who remained on the bench for the entire match.

Speaking to Sky Sport, the Juventus coach declared: “Has Soulé already said goodbye to the team? No, we spoke yesterday, after training, and he asked me not to play today.”

He added, “It seemed like the right thing to me and I respected his decision.”
