Roma executive Morgan De Sanctis will work alongside club CEO Guido Fienga to carry out the Giallorossi’s summer transfer market campaign. However, the former Roma goalkeeper’s future could be away from the Italian capital.
Tuttosport has reported today that three clubs are after the Abruzzo-born director: Ascoli, Hellas Verona and Cremonese.
It’s unknown as to whether or not Roma will name De Sanctis as the full-time sporting director following the departure of Gianluca Petrachi, who was sacked in June.
De Sanctis was the vice sporting director under Petrachi but the Giallorossi continue to look at Piero Ausilio and other names for the role.
