General Manager Tiago Pinto, although banned from attending Roma’s games until March 8th, was still interviewed by DAZN before kick-off to Spezia-Roma.
The Portuguese director spoke about Mourinho’s suspension and addressed rumors regarding Gianluca Mancini’s new contract with the Giallorossi.
“Mourinho’s staff worked very hard this week knowing that he won’t be there on the sidelines. He wasn’t happy with the recent string of results, but that motivated him even more to motivate our guys to go out there today and win.”
“Gianluca (Mancini) is an example of what we want for Roma to be in terms of professionalism and attitude. However, now it’s time to be focus on the pitch, but he knows we’ll talk soon to make the new contract.”
