Roma general manager Tiago Pinto didn’t mince words when asked about this afternoon’s showdown between the Giallorossi and Atalanta.
The 37 year-old executive echoed the words of manager José Mourinho, who stated yesterday that Roma have to win against La Dea today.
“Roma play to win every game. We know the team is strong with a solid project, but we have to win,” he told DAZN.
The former Benfica man also commented on attacker Nicolo Zaniolo, who has struggled this season following injury, as well as the upcoming transfer market.
“Nicolo’s fine, he’s going through a normal process. Scoring goals is important, but we’re certain that he will get plenty of goals and assists for Roma and the Italian national team in the future.”
“As for the market, I get asked this question fifty times. The club is all in alignment, the January transfer window is very particular, we need to improve but there won’t be a revolution.”
