General Manager Tiago Pinto spoke ahead of tonight’s last home match of the season at the Stadio Olimpico as Roma prepare to face Venezia.

“I don’t think there’s anything that could mess with the team’s level of concentration,” Pinto told Sky Sport when asked whether the thought of the Conference League final could disrupt the Giallorossi’s progress in the league.

“We started the week with a heavy mood after the defeat in Florence because we know that it is important to finish the league campaign in the best possible way,” he added.

“Now the team and all of us are focused on these two games that we want to win. If we win, the future is in our hands.”

“The enthusiasm of the fans is not for the Conference League, the league or the Coppa Italia, but for what they see that is changing within the club.”

“I thank the fans for their support, which is for the team, coach, and project because I think they understood that we are changing mentality and team. It will be the same going into next season.”

When asked about the market, Pinto replied “I’m sure that on August 31, 2022 the team will be better than today’s.”

“This is our project. Roma’s project will be step by step, so it will be with Mourinho as leader.”
