Roma have completed the signing of Guinean midfielder Mady Camara on loan from Olympiakos. The player arrives at the capital club as an emergency signing to replace injured Gini Wijnaldum who is expected to miss 3-4 months with a fractured tibia.
General Manager Tiago Pinto discussed Camara’s fit with the Giallorossi in the club’s official announcement.
“Camara has a number of characteristics, both technical and physical, that we have been looking for,” Pinto said.
“I am certain that he will take on this new challenge with the same character that he has demonstrated throughout his career and that he will do everything he can to establish himself at this club.”
Camara attended last night’s win over Monza at the Stadio Olimpico and will take part in the upcoming training session with his new teammates.
