Roma General Manager Tiago Pinto addressed the capital club’s improved record in big matches since the appointment of Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese director spoke to DAZN minutes away from kick-off at the Stadio Olimpico.
“I don’t want to repeat myself too much, but Serie A is difficult and every game is a challenge. We know tonight is a great match. Our attitude must always be the same, we must always try to bring home the three points,” said Pinto.
“It’s normal that we’ve changed in these situations since Mourinho joined us. It’s his second season here,” Pinto added.
“His ideas, his mentality are there on display and it is normal that things are improving. We said we need time. We have to prove it on the pitch. We also improved last season, but now we need to focus on this match.”
