Roma General Manager Tiago Pinto stepped in front of Sky Sport‘s microphones to briefly discuss the packed Stadio Olimpico ahead of tonight’s Ludogorets showdown.

“Mourinho spoke about it during his press conference. The fans have been so impressive, we can’t take it for granted,” said the Portuguese director minutes before kick-off.

“I don’t say this to come off as the nice guy, it’s just the truth: it’s genuinely impressive. But enough with words, it’s time to show our gratitude on the pitch.”

Pinto also commented on Belotti, Camara and El Shaarawy starting the match, “Training every day and being a good professional leads to more opportunities. Those who have been given opportunities so far have taken advantage of it, we hope they will do it again today.”

On Mady Camara’s recent impact, “When he arrived he was not physically 100%. After his arrival he needed an adjustment period. He’s aggressive, carries the ball well, he leads by example: for us he is important in Gini’s absence.”
