General Manager Tiago Pinto is already at work in order to strengthen the squad at Mourinho’s disposal for next season with several names having already been linked with Roma over the past weeks.
According to the latest report by Corriere dello Sport, the Portuguese director has already reached an agreement with two players, Zeki Çelik of French side Lille and Bodø/Glimt attacker Ola Solbakken.
Both players – including the Turkish defender – are nearing free agency. Solbakken’s contract with the Norwegian club is set to expire in December later this year, whereas Çelik’s contract with Lille runs out in 2023.
Pinto is currently negotiating with the players’ respective sides, but the Italian newspaper claims that both deals could be completed for a total sum of €12-14 million.
