Tiago Pinto’s recent trip to Paris has been subject of several transfer-related rumors as Roma plan their market in the coming summer window.
According to calciomercato.it, the Portuguese director has been engaged in talks for young attacker Hugo Ekitike of Ligue 1 Reims.
The 19-year-old has drawn the interest of several top clubs after scoring 9 goals and collecting 2 assists in 21 league appearances so far this season.
Reims have reportedly rejected numerous approaches from Premier League clubs, including West Ham and Newcastle United.
Other teams interested in Ekitike range from Barcelona, Arsenal, Lyon to Tottenham, Milan and Atletico Madrid.
The French side will reportedly consider offers above €20 million.
