Tiago Pinto leaves Trigoria, quits post as Roma GM

Andy Mattioli

Tiago Pinto is no longer Roma’s General Manage effective today.

The Portuguese executive concluded his last transfer window with the Giallorossi, overseeing the signings of Dean Huijsen, Angelino and Tommaso Baldanzi as well as the outgoing transfers of Marash Kumbulla, Matias Vina, Ola Solbakken, Ebrima Darboe and Andrea Belotti.

Pinto will now be a free agent as Roma prepare to announce his replacement in the coming days or weeks.

Earlier today, Pinto was seen leaving Roma’s training facilities at Trigoria, with fans waiting for him outside and bidding him farewell. The director was thanked by those gathered outside of Trigoria, repeatedly telling him, “Thank you for your work.”
