After meeting to discuss the first details of Pellegrini’s much rumored contract extension with the captain’s agent, Giampiero Pocetta, Corriere della Sera reports that Roma’s General Director Tiago Pinto took the opportunity to also open talks regarding the future of two Primavera players who so far have impressed in early preseason.
The two youngsters are Nicola Zalewski and Riccardo Ciervo, both 19 years of age, both clients of Pocetta.
The former a midfielder, the latter a winger; the two of them are looking to understand whether they can make the first team in Roma’s upcoming campaign that will require Mourinho to heavily rotate squads across competitions including the Conference League.
Regarding Zalewski, there have been links with teams like Sampdoria and newly promoted Venezia expressing interest in bringing the 19-year-old on a loan. For Ciervo there is interest from Serie B clubs.
