With Roma-Spezia scheduled for Monday night entertainment, rumors of Giallorossi’s interest in a Spezia player have recently emerged ahead of the January window.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, General Manager Tiago Pinto is currently monitoring Spezia’s captain Giulio Maggiore.
The 23-year-old midfielder has been on Pinto’s radar since earlier in the summer. His contract is set to expire in 2023, and is price-tag is reportedly estimated at around €8 million.
The player could favor a move to a bigger club as early as January given Spezia’s disappointing campaign that sees them currently ranked 17th with the risk of dropping to Serie B.
