Torino have identified Amadou Diawara as a valid alternative to Daniele Baselli who is edging closer to Cagliari, Sky Sport report.
The Granata have recently emerged as potential suitors for the out-of-favor Roma midfielder. Diawara had been linked with other clubs, from Italy and abroad, including Sampdoria, Cagliari and Valencia.
According to the Italian sports outlet, General Manager Tiago Pinto spent the majority of today in Milan negotiating player exits.
Following Guinea’s loss in AFCON, Diawara’s return to the Italian capital seems imminent, another sign that could help speed up any negotiations.
