Roma unveiled their first signing of the summer earlier today by announcing the arrival of Houssem Aouar.
The ex-Lyon midfielder joined the Giallorossi on a free transfer, penning a five-year deal with the club.
General Manager Tiago Pinto discussed the importance of Aouar’s decision to join Roma as a free agent.
“Aouar is a young player who’s already made more than 250 professional appearances. He has technical quality and the prerequisites to keep getting better,” said Pinto.
“His desire to come to Roma, despite having attracted interest from several top clubs, is a source of satisfaction for us all.”
