Roma are prioritizing Nicolo Zaniolo’s contract renewal once the January window comes to an end, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.
In fact, General Manager Tiago Pinto is scheduled to meet with the youngster’s agent, Claudio Vigorelli, in February. The two will hold extensive meetings to discuss the duration and salary increase included in the renewal.
The club want to extend Zaniolo’s contract until 2027.
The 22-year-old, who currently makes around €2.5 million, would reportedly go on to become the club’s third highest earner with a salary increase to €3.5 million, right behind Pellegrini and Abraham.
