Roma General Manager Tiago Pinto is reportedly set to depart the club in the coming weeks.
The Portuguese executive is nearing the end of his contract with the Giallorossi. Having joined the capital club in January 2021, Pinto is about to conclude his three-year spell.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma President Dan Friedkin has already decided not to renew Pinto’s deal at the club.
The American owners want to select a new sporting director and start a new project in the summer.
As a result, Roma CEO Lina Souloukou has been entrusted with the task of securing a replacement of Pinto ahead of the summer.
The newspaper suggests Pinto will likely depart the club once the January window winds to an end. Thus, this will be the last transfer window the Portuguese GM will personally oversee.
