Andy Mattioli

The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, commented on the growing anticipation with regards to the Conference League final that will be held in the Albanian capital on May 25th.

“The stadium is located in Piazza Italia, everyone here speaks Italian. It will be as if Roma will be playing at home and this will surely give them an advantage,” he told Il Diabolico e il Divino.

“Roma will feel at home. I think Roma will win in the end,” he added.

“Tirana is the city best connected to Italy after Rome and Milan, for many Italians it is less expensive to come here during weekends than to stay home, because you eat and drink well like in Italy but at a third of the price.”

“There will be three fan zones, one for Roma fans, one for Feyenoord fans and one mixed zone for those who want to watch the game on the big screens with the family. It will be a big party.”
