Roma midfielder Tommaso Baldanzi made his first European start earlier tonight as the Giallorossi faced Brighton in the return leg of the Europa League Round of 16.
In his post-match interview with Roma TV, Baldanzi expressed his satisfaction with the way he’s been able to contribute to the team’s effort.
“It wasn’t an easy game because they had four goals to catch up, so it was known that they would push a lot.”
“We were good at suffering and starting again, we could have done better certainly on some occasions but we enjoy the qualification to the next round.”
“I’m happy to be here and I like how we’re playing. I’m grateful to the coach and my teammates, they are all helping me a lot.”
