Tommaso Baldanzi will face his former team on the last matchday of the season.
The young midfielder – who recently replaced Paulo Dybala in Roma’s formation – will conclude in the season in his old stadium in Empoli.
There will play against his boyhood club which left in January when he joined Roma on a permanent deal.
With his parents and relatives set to attend Sunday’s match, Baldanzi could be given a chance from the start, reports Corriere dello Sport.
Dybala is not 100% fit yet and De Rossi could choose to give Baldanzi another possibility to feature in Roma’s starting line-up in front of his former crowd of supporters.
