Tommaso Baldanzi is expected to receive his second Roma start in this week’s Europa League fixture with Brighton.
As the Giallorossi prepare to face Roberto De Zerbi’s side in the return leg of the Europa League Round of 16, Paulo Dybala is unlikely to feature from the start for Daniele De Rossi.
In fact, the Argentine is set to go to the bench in order to avoid any further injury risk.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Baldanzi – who signed a long-term deal with Roma in January – will replace him in the team’s line-up.
The midfielder continues to impress in training and De Rossi wants to reward his positive energy and hard work with the chance to feature from the start on the European stage.
