Tommaso Baldanzi is ready for his first full season at Roma.

The Italian midfielder who joined the Giallorossi in January from Empoli is looking to take part in Roma’s preseason training in July.

Baldanzi is in fact expected back at Trigoria on July 6th for the physical and fitness tests before commencing training camp with the rest of Daniele De Rossi’s team.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Baldanzi has already set his sights on his next objective: to become a starter for Roma.

The newspaper reports that Baldanzi is convinced that he will be capable of changing De Rossi’s mind and convincing the Italian manager to rely on him from the start more often than in his first initial six months at the club.

Baldanzi ended the season by scoring in the friendly match in Australia against Milan: he didn’t celebrate, but the whole team showered him with hugs and affection for that very special goal.

The support of the locker room can be an extra stimulus for Tommaso, pushed by everyone to become great together with Roma
