Empoli midfielder Tommaso Baldanzi is one of the most promising names in Italian football.

Following an impressive first season in Serie A, Baldanzi has been linked with a move to any of Italy’s top clubs including Roma who were rumoured as one of the latest teams to have inquired about him.

In a recent interview with calciomercato.it, Baldanzi’s agent – Federico Pastorello – confirmed interest from several top clubs.

“It’s normal that he’s being followed by the best clubs in Serie A. There are several teams interested, but we have yet to receive an offer,” said Pastorello.

“He’s doing great in Empoli and we’ll make the best decision for his future.”
