Former Roma striker Luca Toni was interviewed today by QS and was asked about the current Serie A as well as his ex-club. These are his words:
“Roma? It seems to me that Di Francesco is doing a great job, though, many players have come and gone so it’s not easy at first. It’s best to judge them after some time. Napoli is the team that plays the best football but now we have to figure out whether they can win the ugly matches, the ones where those three up front aren’t at their best. Juventus are the masters at this, winning without playing well, in the long run, can make the difference. If Napoli can get there, they’re a real alternative (for the Scudetto) to Juve.”
