Torino manager Ivan Juric gave his verdict after his side’s 1-1 draw versus Roma in the Italian capital.

The Granata conceded a goal in the final seconds after Nemanja Matic fired the ball into the back of the net, costing Toro a potential victory.

“This was like two games within one. For 70 minutes we dominated but then the game totally changed,” Juric told DAZN.

“Everything was in place for us to bring home a victory but the lads were tired. This is the result of playing three games in one week. Our substitutes weren’t able to make an impact.”

He continued, “It’s a massive regret because we played a great game for 70 minutes. We played really well especially in midfield.”

“The team did well, I’m happy with the growth they’ve displayed so far this season but now we’ve got to do more to mature and be even more competitive when we return to the pitch.”
