Torino & Lecce reignite interest in Amadou Diawara

Amadou Diawara of AS Roma

Out-of-favour midfielder Amadou Diawara is in search of a new team following his recent exclusion from Roma’s preseason.

The 24-year-old was in talks with Hertha Berlin a few weeks ago, but the German side failed to reach an agreement with the Giallorossi.

Therefore, Sportitalia reports that now the Guinean player is likely to continue his career in Italy with several clubs at the window.

Most recently, Torino reignited their interest in the former Napoli player.

Ivan Jurić’s team had followed Diawara closely earlier in January, but at the time the player wasn’t open to the destination.

Moreover, Lecce are also interested. However, Diawara’s wages are considered excessive by the newly promoted side.
