Torino midfielder Alessandro Buongiorno idolizes Roma’s Lorenzo Pellegrini

Andy Mattioli

Torino midfielder Alessandro Buongiorno was recently asked about the players he looks up to the most as he entered his third consecutive year in Serie A.

In the interview with Cronache di Spogliatoio, Buongiorno pointed to Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini.

“When I made my debut in Serie A, I immediately understood the differences in how players approach the game and the quality of players in the league.”

“Above all, for me, reigns Lorenzo Pellegrini: in all these years, he is the one I have admired the most on the pitch, for his technique, positioning, orientation of control and passing, and shot selection. He’s the one I look up to.”
