Torino president Urbano Cairo: “Belotti may already have signed with another team.”

After being linked with Roma over the last few days, Andrea Belotti is now closer than ever to leaving Torino after seven years with the Granata.

The club’s president, Urbano Cairo, was interviewed by Tuttomercatoweb and addressed the rumors linking Belotti with several Serie A sides including Roma, Napoli and Atalanta.

“Belotti is about to become a free agent,” stated Cairo. “He may already have signed with another team.”

“He’s been free, theoretically, to talk with other clubs since the 1st of February.”

Thus, more developments are expected in the coming weeks, with La Stampa reporting that the Giallorossi may consider adding Belotti to broaden their attacking depth.
