Following his free agency switch tom Roma, Andrea Belotti was subject of an interview with Torino president Urbano Cairo who claimed the Granata’s proposed renewal for the Italian striker contained a higher salary fee than what Roma ultimately offered him.
“I saw him play a few minutes for Roma and I can tell he’s clearly very motivated,” Cairo told DAZN.
“It makes sense for him to change teams after seven years with Torino.”
“Our bid for his renewal was higher than Roma’s,” Cairo added. “But ultimately he wanted to change environment. I wish him a lot of luck in his new adventure.”
