Torino pushing for Marash Kumbulla as Bremer’s replacement

Andy Mattioli

Shortly after selling Gleison Bremer to Juventus, Torino have once again reignited their interest in Roma defender Marash Kumbulla.

Torino boss Ivan Juric has instructed the club to pursue Kumbulla as the two previously collaborated in Verona, with Juric being responsible for the Albanian centre-back’s rapid development in Serie A.

According to calciomercato.com, Roma would only be willing to let go of Kumbulla for no less than €20 million.

For the moment, however, his exit is not a priority as the club continue to search for an additional defender in order to strengthen Mourinho’s backline.
