Torino, RB Leipzig racing for Schick

The race for Roma attacker Patrik Schick is down to two clubs, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Torino and RB Leipzig are the two sides battling for the signature of the Czech attacker, who is destined to leave Roma permanently in the coming weeks.

The attacker’s loan at Julian Nagelsmann’s side, who he joined last summer, recently concluded and now the plan is for Schick to return to Roma following his holiday.

Leipzig has always expressed their desire to keep Schick permanently, but they considered the figure of the option to buy included in the deal to be too expensive — so they allowed it to lapse.

Bayer Leverkusen has also expressed interest in the player, but Leipzig’s real competitor is the Torino of Giampaolo, who managed and helped the Czech grow during his time at Sampdoria in 2016.
