Torino’s Sasa Lukic still on Roma’s radar

Despite having accelerated talks for Olympiakos midfielder Mady Camara over the last few days, Roma continue being linked with various alternatives for the midfield to replace injured Gini Wijnaldum – the Dutchman is expected to miss around 3-4 months with a fractured tibia and Jose Mourinho insists on having a valid replacement before the transfer deadline.

The Giallorossi are reportedly still in the race for Torino’s Sasa Lukic who recently has had a falling out with the club’s management. Roma are among the teams monitoring the situation and – according to Sky Sport – made inquiries with the Granata.

Torino value Lukic at €20 million and are unlikely to let him leave on loan. However, the player’s contract is set to expire in 2024 and Torino may decide against the risk of losing Lukic for free next year.
