Tottenham have officially quit their pursuit of Roma attacker Nicolo Zaniolo.
The Premier League side were rumored to be Zaniolo’s preferred transfer destination due to the excellent relations between Spurs director Fabio Paratici and the player’s agent.
However, Roma’s demands for the 23-year-old caused Tottenham to hijack a deal for Villareal attacker Arnaut Danjuma who was in talks to join Everton.
Danjuma’s signing with Tottenham was made official just a few minutes ago, excluding Spurs from the race for Nicolo Zaniolo.
