As Nicolo Zaniolo prepares to make his return to the starting eleven in the Conference League fixture with Zorya Luhansk, reports emerge of clubs being interested in the 22-year-old.
According to Il Tempo, Zaniolo is being closely monitored by Tottenham – with ex-Juve director Fabio Paratici at the helm – and Juventus.
The Giallorossi consider the young midfielder the future star of the club, similarly to captain Lorenzo Pellegrini. The capital club intend to offer Zaniolo a contract renewal binding him to the eternal city until 2026.
However, as journalist Alessandro Austini writes, last minute surprises cannot be excluded and Roma will need to be mindful of other teams’ persisting interest in the young talent.
