After holding preliminary talks in the spring, Tottenham are reportedly still interested in Roma General Manager Tiago Pinto.
Over recent weeks, Spurs are said to have contacted Pinto once more with the prospect of teaming up next year when his contract Roma is set to run out.
According to calciomercato.it, Pinto is currently focused on Roma but is appreciative of Tottenham’s interest in him.
Tottenham would like to appoint a new sporting director in September which could be a problem as Pinto is not willing to abandon Roma in advance.
The Italian news portal thus reports that Spurs have already contacted Barcelona’s Matey Alemaney who is on his way out of the club.
