Francesco Totti spoke to Sky Sport after attending the Champions League draw in Nyon, where Roma drew Porto in the Round of 16. These are his words:
Was it the best draw possible?
We were lucky enough to not draw other teams, but we must not underestimate Porto, who is a strong team. We will face a difficult team – we all know what we see on the pitch is different than what is discussed off it it.
The best news in one of the worst moments?
We’ll talk about it in February but between now and then, we have two months to return to the Roma that we want. We will try to get back to the top.
What do you need to get to the top by February?
Two months isn’t long. We must compact ourselves in this moment of difficulty and get out of it.
How is Di Francesco during this moment?
We are often used to “if’s” and “but’s”. He’s the manager of Roma today and we, primarily he, though, will try to take us where he took us last year. It won’t be easy, but we want to do the same as we did last season. Although, this year we have not had a great League camapaign, we can still turn it around. We will give all the support possible to the Mister and then it’s up to him to lift the team.
