Tuttomercatoweb reports that Roberto D’Aversa’s side are pressing to acquire the Argentine from Roma on a permanent deal before the transfer window closes next week.
Roma executive Tiago Pinto is eager to remove the ex-Sevilla man’s wages from the club’s books and is doing all he can to try and convince him to accept a deal to the Emilian side.

The 33 year-old has appeared in only five matches for Roma this season and isn’t in the plans of manager Paulo Fonseca.
