Kostas Tsimikas’s adventure at Roma is likely over.

The Greek, who arrived on loan this summer, will not remain at the court of Gian Piero Gasperini, with whom he has never had a great rapport.

Returning to Liverpool, the club that owns him, according to English journalist Ben Jacobs, the full-back would like to play his chances of staying, boosted by the spot on the left flank that has opened up with the departure of Andy Robertson.

Tsimikas, whom Roma had high expectations for, has undoubtedly disappointed.

This season, he’s provided just one assist (in the Europa League against Nice) and hasn’t scored in 25 league and Europa League appearances, and he’s almost always been favored on the left flank by more adaptable players like Wesley and Rensch.
