Two Cagliari players test positive for COVID, both played vs Roma

Cagliari have announced earlier today two additional COVID cases among first team players. Walter Mazzarri’s side have now 11 unavailable players due to COVID-19.

The latest names are those of shot-stopper Alessio Cragno and midfielder Alessandro Deiola, both of whom featured in Cagliari’s 1-0 loss to Roma at the Stadio Olimpico just three days ago.

The Giallorossi so far have not reported any additional COVID cases among first team players ahead of their midweek fixture vs Lecce in the Coppa Italia.
