Udinese manager Gabriele Cioffi attended his pre-match presser ahead of Sunday’s fixture with Roma.
The Italian technician discussed tomorrow’s match at the Stadio Olimpico and previewed some dangers Udinese will have to look out for.
“Udinese must certify day after day what they do, game by game the big teams do it, we have to do it every day. We must show the same humility we’ve shown in the last few outings.”
“Roma? When you play against top teams and against one of the best coaches you can’t have a single gameplan, we have to prepare for many solutions, we will have to be good at managing the duels in the match.”
“Lukaku is tough, his physicality is unmatched and most defenders in Serie A have a difficult time guarding him.”
“I also believe that Roma will not underestimate us, I can hope, but I don’t think it can happen. The important thing is to know what attitude we will need to have in order to play against a team like Roma, we have to look at ourselves, if we know how to suffer then maybe we can create problems for Roma.”
